PUBLIC CONSULTATION- TARIFF REVIEW
In reference to WASREB notice published in “My Gov” newspaper dated 23rd April, 2024, notice is given to the general public that Eldoret Water and Sanitation Company (ELDOWAS) which is licensed to provide water and sanitation services in Eldoret town and its’ environs has applied to the Water Services and Regulatory Board (WASREB) for a regular tariff review.
ELDOWAS proposes a tariff review in line with the water sector regulations, changes in the consumer price index in the country as well as the need for the Water Utility to operate at full cost recovery and meet conditions for improving service delivery.
Details of the current and proposed tariffs can be obtained from the websites: www.eldowas.or.ke/www.wasreb.go.ke or at ELDOWAS offices: ELDOWAS HQ located at Kampi Somali Road, opposite Coca Cola depot or area offices namely; Eastern Service Area opposite Police line Headquarters, Southern Service Area located at Reformed Church, opposite Hill School; or Western Service Area next to Oryx petrol station along Uganda Road.
Written comments on improvements on service delivery and/comments on the tariff review should be addressed to the MD ELDOWAS P.O Box 8418-30100 or info@eldowas.or.ke . The closing date for receiving such comments shall be on 23rd May, 2024, (30 days from the date of the notice)
