Tariffs

Notice is hereby given that Eldoret Water and Sanitation Company Ltd has adjusted the water and sewerage services tariff as per Kenya Gazette Notice No. 12825 dated 4th October 2024 of adjustment granted by the regulator, Water Services Regulatory Board (WASREB), in October 2024. This adjustment is pursuant to the application of tariff adjustment made by the company in January 2024 and was recommended by stakeholders in the meeting at Uasin Gishu Social Hall on 15th May 2024. Please take note this adjustment will be effected in your bill for November 2024.

1. Disconnected water accounts shall be charged based on the average of the last three months’ sewer charges before the disconnection.
2. Sewerage consumers without a water connection shall be charged as follows:
   • Domestic (Per Single dwelling unit): KSh. 300 per month
   • All other categories: 75% of the volume of water consumed as per the metered source of water including boreholes. at the rates specified in 1.2 (Sewerage Tariff)
