Eldowas will seek to ensure the highest level of security and privacy regarding the collection and use of customers’ personal information on the use of its mobile applications. Eldowas takes your right to privacy very seriously. We will not disclose information about you to anyone, except in instances where we have your consent, or where we are compelled or allowed by law to do so. If you decide to provide us with any information, then you expressly authorize us to use that information in accordance with this policy.

How information is collected

In order to use Eldowas App you have to sign into the app using OTP send to your mobile device, the mobile number used must be registered in our billing system. The information collected about our users including:

  • Mobile number
  • Device ID
  • User name

Application Data. If you use our application(s), we also may collect the following information if you choose to provide us with access or permission:

  • Geolocation Information. We may request access or permission to track location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using our mobile application(s), to provide certain location-based services. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device’s settings.
  • Push Notifications. We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or certain features of the application(s). If you wish to opt out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device’s settings.
  • Device Storage. Downloaded documents will be stored in device storage and permission to write disk should be provided.
  • Internet Access. In order to access services, internet connection should be given in order for to connect to servers for specific requests.

How information is used

All information is only for the internal use of site users and will not be resold, republished, or copied, without the prior written consent of Water Services Regulatory Board (WASREB). In addition, all information, documents, and materials posted to this site are subject to change without prior notification.

  • The collection of this information assists Eldowas in compiling statistics and determining the level of use of the Eldowas app.
  • To facilitate use app by authentication and in order to access user water accounts. We may process your information so you can allow the use of app and access all your water accounts associated with mobile number
  • To protect our Services. We may process your information as part of our efforts to keep our Services safe and secure, including fraud monitoring and prevention. You can only access only water accounts registered with your mobile number.
  • To comply with our legal obligations. We may process your information to comply with our legal obligations, respond to legal requests, and exercise, establish, or defend our legal rights.
  • Mobile number to link account with water billing account. Mobile number to link user with water accounts.

User information Security.

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorised third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.

All rights in the images of people, places, text, and web pages, appearing on this Website are owned by Eldowas and/or used with the permission obtained by Eldowas. Users of the Website have a non-exclusive, non-assignable license to view the Website and download information and may copy information from the Website for personal, or educational use only, provided that, such copy includes the copyright trademark or service mark notice that may appear on any pages that are copied. The information and material may not otherwise be copied, used, displayed, distributed, published, reproduced, reused, sold or transmitted or used in any way for public or commercial use without the prior written consent of Eldowas.
