ELDOWAS Adopts Green Energy

ELDOWAS is adopting “Green Energy” measures through the use of solar power technologies. To this end the company has acquired a solar plant for Kesses Water Supply as an alternative source of energy. There are also plans to power the Head Office fully on solar as way of cutting costs as well as going “green”. The company is also exploring the possibility of generating electricity from the waste water treatment plants as a means of cutting methane gas emission to the environment as well as providing an additional source of revenue for the company. This will complement the anticipated benefits expected to from conversion of solid waste to energy when the company commences solid waste management.
